Oh hi! I’m Cara. I’m a Creative Project Manager + (occasional) designer who lives and works in New York City.
I help creative teams bring the best possible version of their vision into reality. A great idea will remain abstract without a solid plan. I have over fifteen years of experience working on and with creative teams, which gives me the unique ability to fill in blind spots and take tangible steps to bring ideas to life.
I’m currently a Project Manager at Tag. Previously, I worked as the Production Manager on the Brand Design Studio team at Lincoln Center.
A little more about me.
I’m a morning person. I love neon sticky notes. I grew up in the south (TN and FL). I don’t have a southern accent. I may or may not be allergic to chocolate. I enjoy making myself a fancy meal. I sew a good bit of my clothing. I can knit, but not crochet. I play guitar and ukulele. I went to Southern Girls Rock & Roll Camp in high school and it changed my life. I volunteered for a rock camp almost every summer until the pandemic. I love the beach, but I hate sand. Sometimes I play my ukulele at the beach. I’m terrible at putting contacts in. I really love my sister. She’s one of my best friends. Occasionally, I’ll play a video game. I get very invested in things that I’m interested in. I listen to a whole bunch of podcasts (let me know if you want recommendations). I do my own nails. I have too many bottles of nail polish. When I get homesick, I make food that my mom makes. I like eating baked goods, but I don’t like baking. I’m currently watching Shetland, love a BBC crime drama.
